According to police reports, Crystal Lowery, the suspect's wife and a nursing student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, filed for divorce from Lewis on Oct. 17, citing general indignities and Lewis’ murder charge. She said in the filing that she did not know Lewis was a seven-time felon when they had married on April 20.
