Sandra was a loving mother and grandmother who spent long hours crafting and gardening at her charming one-story cottage in Shady Side, Maryland. When she passed away last year after a long illness, her two daughters contacted Jerry Kline, seeking assistance with selling Sandra’s home as part of settling her estate.
The two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage is as cute as a bug’s ear. Located in the Chesapeake Bay waterfront community of Cedarhust, the home is just a two-block walk from the water and includes access to the local association’s boat ramp, clubhouse, playground and dock.
Jamie & Jessica, Sandra’s daughters, were new to the estate sale process, and Jerry helped them value the property, prepare it for sale and coordinate the transaction with the estate and title attorneys. A buyer for the home was quickly found, and though some repairs to the home were needed, the final sale price of $310,000 was considered excellent for a 1,083 sq. ft. home built in 1950.
Jamie & Jessica were so much fun to work with. Making new friends is the best part of Jerry’s real estate work!
